Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical packages for projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. Your role will include: Project Management: Manage all aspects of mechanical works, including plumbing, pipework, and ventilation, for projects averaging £3 million in value. Plan, coordinate, and oversee project schedules and resources to ensure timely delivery. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and client requirements. Monitor project budgets and prepare regular cost reports. Team Coordination: Lead and manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Coordinate with the design, estimating, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders within the healthcare sector. Provide regular updates and reports to clients, ensuring clear communication of project progress. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on-site. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E industry. Expertise in managing projects in the healthcare sector is essential. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including plumbing, pipework, and ventilation. Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued at approximately £3 million. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong understanding of industry standards and health and safety regulations. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or project management (preferred).
