Housing Officer Stoke on Trent Role and key responsibilities for Housing Officer Visiting tenants in their own homes Receiving and investigating complaints and incidents of Anti Social Behaviour or other tenancy condition breaches Completing fire safety audits attending meetings, case conferences, working parties, court hearings, tenancy review hearings and evictions as directed Supporting tenants with vulnerabilities Attending child protection conferences Recovery of rent arrears and maximisation of rental and other income for all council services Minimum Requirements for Housing Officer Previous experience required Previous experience using NEC database (advantageous) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of Housing Management Ability to prioritise own workload Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Ability to deal with stressful and emotional situations Pay rate: £16.26 - £17.51 per hour Working hours: Full time: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Part time: 18 hours per week between Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 This job is commutable from the following areas, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle, Hanley, Bentilee, Bucknall, Tunstall, Burslem, Cobridge, Trentham Lakes, Longton, Meir, If you believe that your skills and experience match what we are looking for please call our office on 01782 367818 or submit your CV by clicking "Apply Now" and we will be in touch immediately.
