About This Opportunity
Join our Children with Disabilities Service, specifically in the SEND and Inclusion department. This role plays a key part in improving outcomes for children and families in Cumberland by delivering high-quality administrative and financial support.
As Part Of This Role, You Will
* Provide responsive and efficient administrative support for SEND-related services, ensuring statutory requirements and confidentiality are upheld.
* Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including those who may have complex needs.
* Manage and prioritise workloads, supporting colleagues and ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
* Maintain, update, and report on data across various systems, including financial records and case management tools.
* Assist with financial transactions, procurement, and budget monitoring, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Support the development of SEND services, including short breaks, direct payments, and social care advice for EHCPs.
* Organise and provide administrative support for meetings, panels, and events, including preparing documents, scheduling, and taking minutes.
* Contribute to service improvements by identifying and implementing more effective processes.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
