Our superb client with offices based in Huntingdon is seeking an IT Manager to join them on a permanent part-time basis working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday. This role will be a hybrid position following training and induction so you must live within an hour of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Technical support and query resolution
2. Monitoring of system performance and troubleshooting
3. Administration of SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, and other related applications
4. Cybersecurity
5. Training of end users
6. Security audits and assessments
7. Maintenance of all infrastructure including WiFi, servers, website, backups, archiving, and network equipment
8. Liaison with stakeholders to ensure IT requirements meet business needs
9. Managing IT budget and inventory
10. System installations, development, and configuration of software & hardware
11. Purchasing of new equipment/software
12. Managing and implementing internal IT policies and procedures
13. Access controls and permissions
14. Booking deliveries of equipment to colleagues
To be considered for the role of IT Manager, you will have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar level role, with extensive knowledge of disaster recovery, IT security, systems, and infrastructure. A very strong knowledge of MS Office 365 along with strong written and verbal communication skills is required. The role will require some on-call elements outside of contracted hours during critical urgent needs.
