We are seeking suitably qualified BIM & Digital Lead with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team and lead our digital transition. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices in all regions of the UK, and we are open to discussion about the location of the role. A little more about your role…
As a BIM and Digital Lead your role would combine strategy planning, delivery and advocacy, technical management and supporting project delivery:
1. Digital Technology Management: Plan, implement, and support critical digital technologies within the Landscape and Urban Design team. This includes managing digital workflow roadmaps and the associated change and digital implementation of such technologies.
2. BIM Project Delivery: Take full accountability for organising, monitoring, and controlling all resources necessary to complete BIM project delivery and the digital strategy.
3. Digital Solutions Advocacy: Champion and advocate for digital solutions that align with the broader organization’s business objectives.
4. Global End-User Experience: Oversee the global end-user experience, ensuring new solutions are pertinent, enhance user interaction, and actively engage in deployment planning and release sequencing. Provide thorough communication and training.
5. Driving Digital Innovation: Serve as a change agent to promote digital technology and practices.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives into the strategic planning process, securing leadership commitment and efficient resource allocation.
7. Fostering a Culture of Innovation: Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices among partners and colleagues to establish a robust digital ecosystem.
8. Travel and Office Visits: Travel to visit offices may be required to ensure the effective implementation of digital strategies across all regions.
9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align digital initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
10. Team Training and Knowledge Sharing: Be open to sharing knowledge and training team members to enhance their skills and understanding of digital technologies.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
1. AEC Industry Background: Preferable experience in Landscape, Urban Design, Master Planning, or Architecture.
2. BIM Experience: Experience in BIM.
3. Technological Interest: Interest in the latest innovations and technologies in the AEC industry.
4. Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley (Microstation, OpenBuildings, OpenRoads), Civils3D, Navisworks, Adobe CC, ACC, Projectwise, SharePoint.
5. Fluent spoken English: Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
