We are a small privately owned business specialising in the aftercare of aluminium glazed systems, in and around London and the home counties. We are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our team. Based at our offices in Wickford, Essex, the successful applicant will be communicating with customers, engineers and sub-contractors, co-ordinating aftercare services and remedial works for aluminium glazed systems such as windows, balcony doors and curtain walling.
Main Responsibilities
• Liaising with both residential and commercial clients to establish their requirements, processing enquiries, submitting quotations, invoices, and scheduling in works via our project database
• Communicating with engineers and subcontractors to ensure projects are allocated based on Time to Complete & number of operatives required, issuing comprehensive information to all parties including client’s site contact
• Managing engineer’s schedules via electronic calendar, adding survey reports, job information, RAMS, parts information and assigning engineers to jobs based, on required skills and geographical areas
• Managing site attendance trackers and recording visit details to provide historic data
• Monitoring and editing Engineers Reports after job completion, or when follow up works have been identified
• Identifying and ordering parts for projects – ensuring parts are delivered to engineers ahead of jobs
• Maintaining accurate customer and project records on CRM system
• Stock level management, ordering parts and ancillary items, dealing with goods inwards and outwards and processing / receiving delivery notes
• Answering and dealing with incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
• General office duties
Requirements
• Previous experience in a technical role with knowledge of construction / fenestration industry
• Understanding of Construction Health & Safety, Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)
• Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook; fast and accurate keyboard skills
• Electronic diary and geographical schedule management experience
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time, effectively
We are based in a small industrial unit with limited public transport options. Therefore, more suitable to individuals who drive or live near our premises. On site parking available. This is an office-based role. Our offices are open 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday, 40 hour working week.
