What You'll Be Doing
We have an exciting and career enhancing secondment opportunity for an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to manage the Private Sector Housing Services HMO Licensing Team. Working with managers, internal and external partners, you will be responsible for delivering the mandatory and borough-wide additional HMO licensing schemes in Camden. Lead on business intelligence, performance monitoring and analysis of data to drive service improvements and business planning.
All About You
To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential the successful candidate is an experienced Environmental Health Officer with a certificate of registration issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board or hold Chartered status. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge/understanding of the legislative framework relevant to Private Sector Housing, particularly HMO licensing and experience in its application to casework. You'll have the ability to analyse business data to inform strategic decision-making and resource deployment to achieve service and Camden objectives. Additionally, you'll have a high degree of political awareness, including experience of working with publicly elected representatives.
