Job Opportunity: Project Engineer
We're seeking a Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Lincoln.
Location: Lincoln, with a mix of office work, site visits, and remote work.
Hours: 45 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Please discuss your preferences during the interview.
This role involves working on the Anglian Water IOS contract, which covers multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation. The work includes new construction, replacements, or repairs across the Anglian Water region.
Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will manage water projects in the Norfolk area from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, budget, and deadlines. This dynamic role offers opportunities to add value to the business and advance your career.
* Support the operational/project delivery manager in executing Anglian Water projects.
* Assess solutions, conduct root cause analysis considering life cycle costs and risk reduction.
* Develop solutions aligned with governance, safety standards, and legal requirements.
* Ensure design, programming, cost, and CDM requirements are ready for construction handover.
* Adhere to all health & safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
* Assist in asset and cost management within corporate systems.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal if you have:
* An engineering degree or equivalent and experience as a temporary works coordinator.
* Experience in capital delivery within the water sector, particularly with directly employed staff.
* Knowledge of Construction Design Management regulations.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
* A full driving license.
