Accounts Assistant, Near Camberley, to £30000 Benefits This is a full time permanent job. Our client is looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and supportive small finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a couple of years accounting experience and is looking for a new opportunity. Day-to-day of the role: Processing purchase invoices and preparing them for payment. Setting up payments for approval and entering them into the weekly cash flow forecast. Processing cost of sale invoices and stock entries. Matching supplier invoices to orders and ensuring all prices and paperwork are accurate. Assisting with bank reconciliations. Managing employee expenses and reporting these against the budget. Handling credit control, including sending weekly Accounts Receivable reports to the sales team and customer statements. Collaborating with the team to resolve debt queries and invoice issues. Preparing draft UK VAT returns. Managing basic intercompany accruals. Uploading and reconciling credit card statements. Handling intercompany recharges related to travel expenses. Tracking prepayments and releasing them to the profit and loss statement. Tracking orders and sales orders. Performing other general accounts assistance and administrative tasks, such as completing supplier onboarding. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar. An understanding of accounting principles. Experience using accounting software. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
