Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier of Engineering products and services.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for Hydraulic / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Fluid Power related products.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts of products related to Fluid Power / MRO such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, compressed air, filtration, power transmission, couplings, and/or similar mechanical engineering products. Full product training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities
1. Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for Hydraulic / MRO products.
2. Maintain fluid power / MRO product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
3. Work remotely/field-based with regular visits to customer sites.
4. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within mechanical engineering.
2. Experience selling fluid power / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, compressed air, filtration, power transmission, couplings, and/or similar is advantageous. Full product training will be provided.
3. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within the Fluid Power marketplace.
4. Full clean driving license.
5. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the UK when required.
