We are looking to recruit a part time or full time Learning Mentor to support in creating a learning environment that stimulates and encourages the best possible progress and the highest possible attainment for all pupils/students.
Positions are available at our Medway college site and the salary is Kent Range 4 plus a Special Needs Allowance. A full job description and person specification is attached.
Grange Park School is an autism specific provision for children aged 11 to 19 located in a purpose built school in Wrotham and for children aged 9-11 located in Stansted village 3 miles from the main school site.
Currently judged as “good” by Ofsted, we are ambitious and are well placed to becoming outstanding. We are committed to providing our pupils with the best possible learning opportunities and supporting them in their development.
Grange Park is part of KSENT a collaboration of 24 special schools in Kent. This includes CLASS the Collaborative Learning Alliance. This creates numerous training and development opportunities, shared working practices and career progression.
The school offers comprehensive training in autism, exceptional CPD support and development opportunities through our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.
The successful candidate will embrace the special ethos of the School, and the role will provide an opportunity to take Grange Park School into this next exciting phase and beyond.
