Location: Western house, Bradford (BD6) - Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the Asset Delivery Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Asset Delivery Team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
The Programme Delivery Team is accountable for delivering the Capital Construction Programme. This is achieved by delivering intelligent solutions, through collaboration, for sustainable out-performance. The Department is also accountable for commercial and contractual arrangements across the supply chain and to deliver leading and world class contract management processes.
The purpose of the department is to achieve best value for money from our Capital Programme, by optimising our resources, monitoring and tracking the effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain commercial arrangements, through;
* Reducing cycle time in the project delivery process;
* Maintain, or enhance service;
* Embracing a collaborative approach through our supply chain;
* Working in a safe environment;
* Delivering out-performance against targets identified in collaborative out-performance plans.
Where you fit in:
As a Project Coordinator you will:
* Act as support and liaison for all aspects of schemes, coordinating communications with regards to; purchase orders, payments, contract drafting, general customer enquiries (internal and external) and to provide an essential support function for the whole team.
* Provide support to Project Managers in provision of project administration
* Support the day to day delivery of team, department and directorate objectives.
* Supporting the delivery of the Programme Delivery Business Plan and our performance targets.
* Follow corporate governance processes and procedures for project delivery;
* Co-ordinate and manage the booking of collaborative project meetings, including the recording of actions and minutes.
* Supporting with analysing project reports and financial data
* Supporting with the close out of projects following the end-to-end process
* Develop good communication skills to enable excellent liaison with the wider business functions. Interacting with, Asset Integrity, Asset Planning, Asset Programme Management, Finance, Costing and Modelling, Service Delivery, Contract Partners, Programme Management Office, Commercial Services and the wider Programme Delivery team.
* Ensure regulatory and statutory obligations are met, including health, safety and wellbeing, driving performance and ensuring that we meet our corporate governance regulations, performing to time, cost and quality metrics.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* To be proactive and work successfully independently and as part of a team
* Able to follow instructions and take initiative with the task in hand
* Reporting, writing and presentation skills
* Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite e.g Word, Excel, Power Point
You will also benefit from having:
* Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP
* Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
* Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors
* Analytical and Reporting skills
