Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Sheffield area, is looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join the business on a permanent basis due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Contract/Project Management within a fast-paced manufacturing engineering environment, with the ability to see a project from cradle to grave while engaging with all stakeholders. Candidates will be required to oversee all aspects of the projects from Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, to Shipping.
Ideally, candidates will have experience working within a Manufacturing Engineering/Assembly-based environment. Exposure to Fabrication and Machining would be highly advantageous.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible)
This role is available for an immediate start and is based at the site in Sheffield.
Responsibilities
1. Take hold of current and existing projects and streamline processes to help maintain OTD of projects.
2. Engage with clients to manage ongoing projects and maintain and develop relationships.
3. Coordinate between all relevant departments including Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Shipping.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Demonstrable experience in Contract Management/Project Management and streamlining projects already in process.
2. Experience working within a manufacturing engineering environment; exposure to Fabrication/Machining would be ideal.
3. Ability to bring multiple departments together to ensure OTD of project.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Strong organisational and planning skills.
6. Strong leadership skills.
7. Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure.
