The role Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team working permanently for our contract with Amplius Housing as a Labourer (Which includes working as part of the Damp & Mould team.) The D&M Labourer will be responsible for most aspects of property maintenance and repairs support to Social Housing properties covering a patch which stretches from Rushden to Peterborough, mainly within Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas, so travel is essential. Core Hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm As a D&M Labourer you will be ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. You take ownership of work, aiming for successful turnarounds times, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters, whilst being courteous and professional on site. The Customer Fortem's successful contract with Amplius supports nearly 8,000 houses, and we're expecting that to increase significantly in 2025. Our contract includes Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Complex Works and FRA workstreams with plans to expand into Planned Works and Preventative Maintenance as well. Duties and responsibilities Assisting Trades, Heavy Lifting, Waste disposal, and completing work for all properties as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner with specific turnaround deadlines. Advising Supervisor in a timely manner Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects on time.
