About the Role:
The Head of Digital will lead the strategic development, execution, and optimisation of all digital channels within the marketing function. This role is accountable for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through performance marketing, CRM, loyalty (Frequent Fisher), website, content, and data. Blending analytical rigor with creative thinking, the Head of Digital will ensure all activity supports commercial goals, enhances the customer experience, and reflects brand standards. Working cross-functionally and managing key partners, this role will champion a data-led, test-and-learn approach to digital excellence while building a high-performing in-house team and digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and lead the digital strategy across all channels to support commercial and brand objectives.
2. Oversee performance marketing across paid search, social, display, and affiliates, driving efficient acquisition and conversion.
3. Own CRM and loyalty strategy (including Frequent Fisher), optimising segmentation, personalisation, and automation to enhance retention and frequency.
4. Lead website and app performance, ensuring seamless UX, content relevance, and technical excellence across devices.
5. Define and deliver SEO and content strategies to increase organic visibility and engagement.
6. Manage digital data, analytics, and reporting, ensuring insights drive continuous improvement and commercial impact.
7. Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Commercial teams to align messaging and maximise digital effectiveness.
8. Lead, grow, and mentor the digital team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results.
9. Manage budgets and external partners, ensuring effective investment and high performance.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or lifestyle brands.
2. Strong leadership skills and a track record of building or leading high-performing teams.
3. Deep understanding of brand building, campaign delivery, and cross-channel marketing.
4. A strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Comfortable working across multiple markets, teams, and time zones.
7. Be assertive, empathetic, and diplomatic, with a mature approach.
8. A confident decision maker with a big smile and a small ego.
9. Experience in a multi-site, international, or high-growth business.
10. Familiarity with tools or platforms relevant to their area (e.g., GA4, CRM systems).
