Academics is seeking an Learning Support Assistant to work in our lovely local schools. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will need to use your initiative to help best support the students on a 1:1 and group basis. Requirements:
1. Have strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A - C).
2. Be passionate about supporting children with their learning.
3. Have the ability to keep children engaged and motivated.
4. Be enthusiastic, friendly, and confident.
5. Have strong communication skills.
6. Have good behavior management skills.
7. Experience in working with children.
You will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and in groups to help support children's learning, in addition to providing a safe and inclusive environment where all children's needs are established and valued. You will give extra support to children who are both struggling and overachieving in the classroom to help them reach their full potential.
