Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £85 - £95 Per day
Job Duties:
* Provide support and assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and using technology
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
* Support students during classroom activities and outings
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
* Experience working with children or young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and empathy towards students with learning difficulties
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
* Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is beneficial
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work hours may vary based on school schedules
* May involve physical activities such as assisting students with mobility
* Work in classroom settings and outdoor environments
* Training and development opportunities may be provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
