Job Description: JOB DETAILS Job Title: Sample Reception Admin Site Location: Marchwood - Worsley Reports to: Mai Vuong Dept/Section: Responsible for: N/A Job Holder: JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT To receive, unpack and log customer samples onto the laboratory system, ensuring they are ready for analysis. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAIN DUTIES Receive and unpack customer samples on arrival at site, ensuring paperwork is present and legible. When necessary, email customers in a professional manner to resolve queries promptly. Liaise with laboratory and customer service colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are achievable. Log samples onto the system accurately and efficiently. Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures provided. Work as a team, maintaining morale and actively offering help and assistance wherever possible. SKILLS REQUIRED Basic level experience of using Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate in a professional manner either by phone or email. Good eye for detail.
