We are excited to invite applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our established team at Medway and Swale Home Treatment Team/Rapid Response.

Work directly with service users in their homes and communities, providing holistic and person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions.

We Are Looking For An OT With
A strong commitment to community-based mental healthcare. Excellent clinical skills and experience in assessment and intervention. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build rapport with service users. A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Working with service users referred to Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service.
* To provide short-term specific psychosocial interventions for those who would benefit from crisis interventions.
* To contribute to the planning and implementation of induction, training and education of students and staff.
* To provide effective supervision, support, and guidance for support/peer workers.
* Responsible for the delivery of individual care plans for a caseload.
* The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Training, Qualifications And Registration
Essential criteria
* A recognised OT professional qualification
* Registration with the HCPC
* Two or more years post qualified experience
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience in clinical practice, holding a range of experience within a variety of settings
* Manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence based, service user centred, health promotion and relapse prevention orientated principles and practice.
