We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking, and motivated CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly and professional multi-disciplinary Emotional & Behavioural Community CAMHS Team based in Bedford, within the North Bedfordshire Specialist CAMHS Service. The post-holder will be a UK registered Mental Health Nurse with community CAMHS experience (Must have valid UK NMC pin at point of application, without this you will not be shortlisted for interview). The post holder will be offering assessments, supporting group offers, and treatments to young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, involving parent/carers, schools, and other agencies as appropriate. You will require a high degree of professional autonomy, organization, and self-management, and the ability to work well in a team. You will be supported by regular clinical and management supervision sessions, access to a variety of internal CPD sessions, and annual performance appraisals.
Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will be offering assessments, supporting group offers, and treatments to young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, involving parent/carers, schools, and other agencies as appropriate. You will also participate in weekly clinical discussions with the teams, monthly complex case discussions, and a monthly reflective space.
