Maths Teacher Location: Brynmawr Pay Rate: Paid to scale. Start Date: 2 nd September 2024 Hours: 8.30 – 3.30pm. A secondary school In Brynmawr has an exciting opportunity to join their maths department. This is a full-time role commencing 2 nd of September and will run in line with the academic year to July 2025. Ideally the candidate would have one years teaching experience but newly qualified teachers will also be considered. You would be expected to work with pupils in key stages 3 & 4. Planning and marking will be involved in this role meaning that the school will be willing to pay the successful candidate to scale. Teachers should be able to provide the right level of challenge and support allowing children to thrive to reach their potential. Role of maths teacher Plan, prepare and deliver purposeful and productive lessons alongside the curriculum. Working with other staff members to co ordinate lesson plans. Encourage good classroom behaviour and build positive relationships with the pupils. Develop pupils’ understanding and applications of Mathematics in its wider context.
