About The Role
Due to increasing occupancy we are currently searching for a Care Assistant (Days) to work at Mere Hall Care Home.
Shift: 7am-7pm
The home provides both residential and dementia care and includes a residents bar, shop, hairdressers, and bowls green.

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support to residents with a wide range of health care needs, illnesses, and disabilities, as outlined in their care plans.
* Serve and assist with drinks and snacks if required.
* Make and change beds; tidy rooms along with some light cleaning to ensure resident comfort and maintain the appearance of their home.
* Maintain accurate documentation regarding the care and support given to our residents.
* Act as an advocate for the residents and communicate their needs and wishes to senior staff when required.

This role will include some weekend work.
While experience is preferred, training and support are provided to a very high standard if the applicant demonstrates all the essential qualities for this role, such as having a positive and caring attitude.
Pay: £11.90 per hour regardless of age / £12.00 per hour with NVQ2
