A typical day in the life as an Insurance Coordinator:
* Negotiate and manage insurances for a complex business with diverse operating sectors and a large employee base.
* Manage the HSW injury claims process, including the review and collation of necessary case documents.
* Manage vehicle incident claims, ensuring proper review and documentation of each case.
* Identify ‘red flag' or complex cases, presenting key issues for decision-making and mitigating risks.
* Respond effectively to and coordinate with third parties, such as brokers and insurers, to improve risk management.
* Manage data and reporting, providing a single view of potential and current claims, and tracking claims liability through the Claims Tracker Portal.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in insurance management including working for an insurance underwriter or broker
* Experience with management of insurance policies and relationships with brokers, insurers & lawyers
* Practical knowledge of legal aspects of governance in terms of insurance claims (civil liability) and workplace injuries
* Organisational skills and able to be an effective internal focal point & champion for change
* Evidence of professional development in the insurance sector
* Work experience within environments such as Security, Aviation, Construction Logistics is desirable.
* Insurance & claim management relating to Health & Safety in the workplace (including injuries & adjustments); motor/fleet insurance & claim management; management of legal claims; relationships with brokers, insurers & lawyers
* Membership of CII (Chartered Insurance Institute), Degree (Bachelor or above) in Business Administration/ Risk Management or a related field is desirable
