About Us Founded in 1997, GamCare is one of the leading providers of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. It operates the National Gambling Helpline, delivers free treatment services across multiple regions in Great Britain, and raises awareness about gambling harms through a variety of prevention-based programmes. The Role You will have a variety of responsibilities, such as responding to support requests from staff, and working with the IT Operations Manager to ensure regular checks are completed relating to IT security, onboarding and offboarding staff, software licenses and hardware stock levels. You will ensure all new employees are inducted and set up on GamCares system to the required level, as well as assist with projects involving hardware, software, and telephony services. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of office IT and audio-visual equipment, including regular testing and maintenance. On-the-job training for internal processes will be provided by GamCares IT Operations Manager. About You You will have a can-do attitude and enjoy working collaboratively, with demonstrable experience of providing IT support to multiple stakeholders in a dynamic organisation. You will be a confident communicator with an excellent deskside manner, and the ability to use your initiative to act and make decisions, as well as identify and implement improvements. The ability to collate and report current trends of incoming IT incidents is equally important.
