* Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule?
* Do you have strong communication skills and a positive attitude?
* Would you like to work in a rewarding role working locally in Stockton-on-Tees?
Then look no further! Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council are seeking to recruit a number of Catering Assistants and Cleaning Assistants to join our Catering & Cleaning Services on a casual basis.
The roles currently on offer are casual posts, meaning you will work as-and-when needed by the service based on your availability, allowing you to fit work in with your other commitments. Many of our permanent members of the team started with us on a casual basis and enjoyed it so much that they then applied for permanent roles within the service.
Previous experience would be advantageous but is not required – just a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to be organised.
As most of the roles available will involve working in schools, you will also need to undergo safeguarding checks including an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council prides itself on being a great place to work where staff are trusted, valued and supported to make a positive contribution at work.
Working for our Catering & Cleaning services is uniquely rewarding, as we offer vital services to the local communities of Stockton-on-Tees. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking individuals to join us in the following teams:

You will need excellent communication skills, good standards of hygiene, the ability to be organised and able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
