Our client, a global leader in the engineering space are looking for a IT Operations Manager! If you have experience in leading teams & core Microsoft 365 applications/services we want to hear from you!
This is a fully remote role, but you must be based within Australia for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the senior representative for all operational activities.
* Mentor, oversee, coach, and train technical support staff.
* Assist team members in troubleshooting technical issues.
* Support specialists in managing, monitoring, and optimizing service performance, stability, and security.
* Act as the primary contact for technical escalations.
* Onboard new technical support team members.
* Monitor and report on service performance metrics.
* Establish work specifications and provide technical direction.
* Participate in a follow-the-sun model to ensure global support.
* Collaborate on implementing redundant systems, policies, and procedures for business continuity.
* Provide on-call support and extended working hours when required, and be willing to accept periodic rotation.
Experience & Skills:
* Demonstrate practical experience in workplace operations and technical leadership.
* Advanced, comprehensive knowledge of workplace services and infrastructure.
* Experience in large/global enterprise IT environments
* Experience working within ITIL framework.
* Knowledge of core Microsoft services & applications, including:
* Active Directory
* Exchange and Exchange Online
* Teams and SharePoint
* Intune and MDM
* Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Salary/Package:
* $150,000
