Join Our Team as a Senior Factory Worker!

Pay: £35,000 - £38,000 based on experience + benefits & training
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Factory Worker to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the manufacture of the UltraKit panels including various associated components to augment the system. The ideal candidate will primarily work as part of a core team on the factory floor whilst also working across the business with architects, leaders, and coordinators. This role includes production, training staff, assessing capability, and ensuring quality control is maintained within the factory.
What You'll Do:
* Work in support of the factory manager in a supervisory capacity and as an integral member of the senior team.
* Oversee the manufacture of all UltraKit components according to the approved production drawings and specifications.
* Carry out production duties alongside other members of the manufacturing team, whilst assuming the responsibility of supervisor.
* Train and mentor factory workers, ensuring they are competent in their roles assessing the capability of staff and provide feedback for improvement.
* Ensure high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing process ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintain good timekeeping
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors and collaborate with architects, leaders, and coordinators across the business to ensure seamless production processes.
* Support the factory manager to coordinate and prioritise workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of quality and precision.
* Work with numbers and measurements accurately.
* Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
* Adhere to safety protocols and use a variety of tools safely and effectively.
* Be agile and adaptable with a solutions-focused approach.
* Occasionally travel to customer sites to support with the erection of the UltraKit.
* To utilise forklift if and when required. (Forklift training will be provided)
* Liaise with factory to co-ordinate staff holiday requests.
* Additional administration duties to ensure compliance at all levels of production

* Qualified joiner or extensive experience in a similar role.
* Background in manufacturing, factory settings, or construction (timber frame work preferred).
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
* Ability to read and follow architectural drawings.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
