Job Description: HLTA, Meadway Site
Hours: 36 hours per week - TTO
Salary: Grade G, FTE £33,957 - pro rata approx. £29,866
Contract type: Fixed Term 1 year
Reporting to: SLT
Purpose of the Job
To work with staff and pupils at the Pavilion to progress pupils to fulfil their potential and to prepare them for successful integration to continuing education or the world of work.
To work under the guidance of the Headteacher and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in and out of the classroom. This may require detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting in whole education planning and the management/preparation of resources to support individual student programmes. Staff may supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.
