A key role within our Sales department.
Providing exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to transferring final contract to the operations team, your knowledge, customer service, accuracy and people skills will shine in this role. From small private meetings in our boardrooms to a full-service gala ball in our main suite, you will be comfortable in the process of arranging appointments, follow up calls and conducting face to face meetings and viewings of the hotel facilities with potential clients and assisting in coordinating the sales diary to ensure we exceed our customers expectations.
Key role responsibilities are below:
* To initiate, re-establish and maintain key relationships with new and existing clients.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Flexibility in responding to a range of different work situations.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
* To respond to initial enquiries in a timely manner in accordance with the event departmentstandards.
* Follow up provisional bookings and potential leads in a structured manner.
* Draft proposals in a client-focused manner but always with business interests in mind.
* To book all event spaces, accommodation, AV, bands, discos as required to ensure the smoothtransition of events from sales to operations.
* To follow up and record event feedback.
* Maintain, track and follow up prospect & tentative leads
