About the role: As Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring a high standard of education within a faith-based setting. Essential Requirements: Practicing Catholic with a commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant teaching experience. Leadership Experience (e.g., Deputy Head or Assistant Head role). National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) (often desirable but not always mandatory). Strong Understanding of Catholic Education and its role in the community. Ability to Lead and Inspire Staff and Pupils while fostering a positive school culture. Excellent Knowledge of the National Curriculum and educational policies. Commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection, ensuring a safe environment for all pupils. Desirable Requirements: Experience in Catholic School Leadership, including involvement in religious education and pastoral care. Ability to Develop and Implement Strategic Plans for school improvement. Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills, especially with parents, governors, and the parish community.
