Role: Senior Media Investor
* Start Date: March-April 2025
* Location: Melbourne
* Develop and execute investment strategies across TV, Radio, OOH, Digital, and Programmatic channels.
* Negotiate rates, placements, and value-adds with media vendors to drive maximum ROI for clients.
* Use media buying platforms and investment tools to manage spend, pacing, and performance.
* Analyse audience data to inform investment decisions and optimise campaigns in real-time.
* Prepare post-campaign performance reports with insights and recommendations for future investment.
* Collaborate closely with Client Service, Strategy, and Planning teams to align media investment with overall campaign goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key media owners and suppliers.
* Act as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them on the evolving media landscape and smart investment opportunities.
* Lead investment workshops and training sessions for junior team members to uplift team capability.
* Stay on top of industry trends, innovations, and market rates, ensuring the agency offers competitive and future-fit solutions.
* Minimum Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in media investment, trading, or buying — ideally within a media agency environment.
* Strong experience managing multi-channel campaigns across traditional (TV, radio, OOH) and digital media.
* Proven track record of successful rate negotiations and value delivery for clients.
* Experience working with both local and national media vendors in Australia.
* Negotiation prowess — able to secure the best deals without compromising quality.
* Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret data and translate it into investment decisions.
* Excellent stakeholder management — both internally with teams and externally with vendors and clients.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring budgets are spent efficiently and accounted for accurately.
