As a Finance Assistant within our global reporting team, you will be involved in the reporting process for your region. This will include monthly reporting, working with auditors and the wider reporting team, as well as other stakeholders across the business. You will report into the Senior Finance Manager for the region. You will be based in our HQ (London, Cannon Street), and we are operating on a hybrid model where you will be in the office three times a week.
What you'll do:
* Assisting with month-end reporting, posting journals and working on balance sheet reconciliations;
* Processing property costs for the region and ensuring correct accounting treatment;
* Reconciling key account balances including identifying and resolving issues;
* Liaising with partners to ensure receipting and reporting is accurate and complete;
* Improving reporting processes by interacting with different departments across multiple jurisdictions (local operations, analytics, etc);
* Working with the auditors to fulfil their requests and answer their queries;
* Liaising with the wider reporting team on processes performed at a group level, and take responsibility for specific processes.
Requirements:
* Part-way through an accountancy qualification, ACA/ACCA/CIMA;
* A desire to take responsibility and ‘own’ your work;
* Strong people skills and the ability to liaise with different stakeholders across the business.
