Compliance and Operations Director at AV Trinity Ltd
The main purpose of this role is to manage and grow a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients. We advise across the board with key areas of focus on retirement planning and execution, long-term wealth creation and preservation, and later life planning.
Our Chartered Financial Planners work alongside our Mortgage Advisers, and collaborate with solicitors and accountants to deliver comprehensive, holistic financial advice to our private and corporate clients.
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join our successful team. You will have an existing client bank that you are able to bring with you to AV Trinity, on which we will complete due diligence prior to an offer of employment being made.
Reports to:
Compliance and Operations Director, Managing Director.
Direct reports:
None (Paraplanning and Administration support provided and managed by the Head of Paraplanning).
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility is to manage and grow a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients to enable the business to meet its objectives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
1. Completing annual reviews of existing clients, ensuring ongoing suitability of advice and appropriateness of fees.
2. Promptly contacting leads when received, and arranging initial meetings.
3. Onboarding new clients in line with business objectives.
4. Building relationships with professional connections to generate quality client referrals.
5. Working with the Paraplanning and Administration teams to ensure accurate client suitability reports and other advice-related documents, and accurate client data held on our back-office systems.
6. Ensuring that suitable client outcomes are delivered without exception.
7. Managing and prioritising workloads appropriately, working closely with the Paraplanning and Administration teams.
8. Maintaining an up-to-date CPD record.
9. Adhering to all AML and financial crime rules.
10. Creating and maintaining a culture of positivity, support, and mutual respect.
11. Supporting other colleagues in terms of workload and training as and when required.
12. Following strict regulatory rules and guidelines, and the firm’s policies and procedures at all times.
13. Adhering to ethical and good codes of conduct and practices as detailed by the firm, the CII and the FCA.
Salary and Benefits:
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week.
