Operations Accountant Humdinger, Bromborough CH62 3RD We are looking for an Operations Accountant to join our team at Humdinger's Bromborough Nut Snacking Factory. This role will be pivotal in leading all aspects of operations accounting, ensuring that all financial reporting and analysis is delivered accurately and on time. Position type: Permanent, full time Hours: 37.5 per week Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 Material, Labour & Overhead Variance Reporting – Understand, report, and analyse key variances. Operational Financial Analysis – Provide insights and support to drive business decisions. Month-End Processes – Play an instrumetal role in closing period-end accounts accurately and efficiently. Forecasting & Budgeting – Prepare monthly and quarterly reforecasts, supporting the wider planning process. Year-End Audit Support – Assist in financial audits and compliance. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively and build strong cross-functional relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Experience in manufacturing accounting (ideally within the food & drink industry).
