Your new opportunity
We are currently recruiting for full time Senior Support Worker to join Quarriers Renfrewshire Supported Living service. The service is based in Barrhead. We support a male in his 50s with down syndrome in his own home and in the community. Providing support with all aspects of his daily living tasks, including personal care, financial, emotional and social and psychological support.
The male we support loves music, animals going to his clubs in the community and meeting up with his friends, he also has a wide range of interests from wrestling, boxing, baking and arts and crafts.
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the team leader in the smooth and effective running of the service, staff team and be part of the emergency on call procedure.
This is a permanent, full time role offering 39 hours per week.
Working pattern: Providing 24 hour support which involves sleepovers, earlys, backshift and weekend shifts. The post requires the senior to provide 20 hours direct support and 19 hours administrative role.
