Job Description
In this role you will report directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
1. Define Electrical and Controls Engineering specifications for high-temperature vacuum furnaces
2. Assess equipment specifications and performance criteria to minimize costs and technical risks
3. Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, create bills of materials, and modify designs as needed, while also preparing manuals and documenting test results
4. Conceptualize, design, and program electrical equipment and control configurations
5. Generate detailed drawings, schematics, and configure PLC and HMI code
6. Finalize "as built" documentation, including drawings and schematics

The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Controls Engineer will have:
7. 4+ years of automation experience
8. PLC and HMI testing and configuration experience
9. Controls troubleshooting knowledge
10. Vacuum, furnace, pressure vessel, ASME, or heat treating experience preferred
