Come as you are and be yourself Description of the Business Unit Jaja is a growing FinTech requiring an experienced hands-on Fraud & Financial Crime Strategy Analyst to join their growing team of Fraud and Financial Crime Specialists. Purpose of the Role The Fraud & Financial Crime Strategy Analyst is responsible for working alongside Strategy Leads to develop and maintain fraud & financial crime strategies in line with Jaja’s risk appetite. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and maintaining strategy systems, in particular on the existing customer side whilst ensuring that our customers are not negatively impacted by fraud & financial crime prevention measures. Key Accountabilities: • Work alongside Strategy Leads to develop and maintain new and existing strategies and systems • Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure fraud & financial crime prevention measures are embedded in new and existing products and services whilst keeping in mind how genuine customers might be impacted • Analyse and investigate large datasets to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks • Work closely with the Fraud & Financial Crime Operations team to ensure best practices and intelligence are shared to continuously enhance Jaja’s defences • Communicate any emerging trends and challenges to management swiftly to facility required visibility within the business Essential skills and Experience • 2 year experience working in fraud in a regulated environment • Experience implementing and maintaining strategies and systems (3DS, Behavioural Biometrics, dedicated risk engines etc.) • Strong working knowledge of SQL • Analytical mindset, experienced in translating complex and technical topics for a nontechnical audience • Strong communication, time management and prioritisation skills • Excellent at working with rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong understanding of fraud & financial crime typologies • Proactive, innovative, and customer focused mindset Desirable skills and experience • AML or fraud certification (ICA, ACAMS, CFE) • Experience using graph databases or link analysis tools (Neo4j, TigerGraph, AWS Neptune) • Experience using Tableau What's in it for you? • The chance to make a real impact in a growing start-up on a mission to change the face of the consumer finance industry forever. • Competitive salary • Remote Hybrid working model • Bonus scheme • Annual Salary Review • 4x life insurance cover • Optional private health care • Employee assistance program • Annual staff get together • 25 day holiday allowance plus UK bank holiday • Pension Contributions Fair Processing Notification The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with Cifas who will use it to prevent fraud, other unlawful or dishonest conduct, malpractice, and other seriously improper conduct.
