Job summary The Team Leader will support the Administration Team to provide general administrative support to the ND pathway. The ND pathway provides an assessment only service for children and young people who are showing possible signs of autism and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The team also support children and young people who are on ADHD medication reviews. The ND pathway team consists of Neurodevelopmental Practitioners including, a Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Community Paediatricians, Speech and Language Therapists and Nurses. A team of Care Navigators also support the assessment pathway. This is a demanding role requiring high levels of administrative skills / communication skills and the ability to work proactively as part of a team. The role also requires some degree of client and stakeholder contact, requiring a high level of inter-personal skills and personal confidence. Having a respectful and empathetic attitude will be essential, with the capacity to manage highly sensitive, highly complex and confidential information. The role requires a high-level capacity to communicate / manage sensitive, confidential information safely and know when and how to liaise with the multidisciplinary team. Base The role will be based in either the High Post Hub, Salisbury, or the Derby Court Hub in Trowbridge, with some flexibility for home working. Main duties of the job Be able to follow guidelines/protocols and work with clinical colleagues to ensure optimal service delivery You will oversee the booking and scheduling of planned clinical appointments on SystmOne ensuring patients are seen within any contracted waiting times Help to ensure information and appointment letters are collated and sent to patients in respect of booked appointments in a timely way To reschedule appointments cancelled by patients or the organisation Manage enquiries from families and other professionals regarding the assessment process. Provide support around incoming and outgoing written correspondence from the organisation (letters/emails) Help with the scheduling and organisation of meetings for the ND pathway by preparing agendas, transcribing and typing minutes of meetings, circulating and distributing papers. Toprovide direct line management to the team of ND Administrators in line with the organisations HR policies, including regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, allocation of work, induction and training and development.
