Job summary This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team of cardiac physiologists and Cardiographers at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust There is an 8 bedded coronary care unit, 8 bedded chest pain unit and 14 bedded cardiology ward in this busy and expanding cardiac centre. We currently have 6 interventional cardiologists and 4 non-interventional cardiologists. Outpatient services are provided from the Heart and Lung unit where we have dedicated rooms for echo, ECG's, and cardiac monitoring. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come join our wonderful team of passionate, and innovative Cardiographers. Main duties of the job Ideally you will have some Healthcare experience and be looking for a new opportunity to train as a Cardiographer, although full training will be given. As a Cardiographer you will be patient facing, performing 12 Lead ECGs on adult and paediatric patients, fitting and removing ambulatory ECG monitors, blood pressure monitors and uploading data in preparation for analysis. We would welcome applications from candidates who are willing to complete an additional Cardiology society SCST ECG application and interpretation qualification.
