Purpose of the Job: A core broking role on the ACMI Leasing team working on short and long term ACMI enquiries and fixtures. Actively engaging with customers and supplier airlines via e-mail, phone and meeting in-person with a desire to win business. After initial training this role enables the opportunity to learn and develop skills as an ACMI broker working actively as part of a global team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Contacting airline operators on a weekly basis to gather availability and update short term aircraft availability system. Brokering new enquiries received and managing client and new prospect airline relationships. Negotiate and maximise potential margins on all enquiries. Delivering a first-class customer service to ensure that all flights meet the clients’ deadlines. Marketing and business development to existing and new prospect customers by telephone and e-marketing. Brokering ACMI lease enquiries out of office hours as required. Travel as part of the ACMI team to carry out business development activities and represent the Company at events. Generally assisting other team members with administration, creating contracts and documents from our standard templates. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Relevant experience in a sales, broking, commercial or aviation environment (can be from airlines, airport or related aviation industry sectors) Highly target driven individual, motivated to ‘Win’ business Excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met with the ability to prioritise work effectively Commercial awareness, with the ability to negotiate and influence Customer focused with first rate people skills Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable and confident making calls to third parties for business development and availability purposes Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn and develop the functionality of a new system Have a flexible approach working in a team environment Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail Willing and able to travel to meet clients and suppliers worldwide Able to work flexibly with different time zones worldwide outside of office hours as required.
