Job Title: Customer Service / Sales Coordinator Location: Washington Hours: Full-time, Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm Benefits: 25 days annual leave Early Finish Fridays Free parking Structured training plan Electric car charging port on-site Flexible working (subject to successful completion of probation) About the Role: We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Washington. In this role, you will play a key part in driving customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support to both existing and potential customers, as well as working closely with our Area Sales Manager to maintain and grow customer relationships. As the first point of contact for many customers, you will contact exisiting and prospect clients to chase up quotations, ensure that sales orders are processed efficiently and customers are kept informed every step of the way. Key Responsibilities: Customer Communication: Actively chase existing and potential customers via phone, email, and other methods to ensure all quotations are followed up and converted into sales. Sales Order Management: Ensure that sales orders are accurately taken and entered into the ordering system. Account Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, providing a high level of service and ongoing communication. Order Updates: Provide timely and accurate information to customers about their order status, including proactive communication regarding any delays. Site Visits: Occasionally accompany the Area Sales Manager on customer site visits to support relationship-building and gather customer feedback. Problem Resolution: Handle customer queries or issues promptly, maintaining professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. About You: To succeed in this role, you will need to be confident and communicative, both in person and over the phone. You should be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive, can-do attitude. While experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable, it is not essential. We are happy to train the right candidate. Skills and Experience: Confident, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment. A customer-focused attitude, with a passion for providing top-tier service. Experience working with a CRM system Experience in sales or account management is an advantage.
