The Medical Assessment Units at The Grange, Nevill Hall Hospital and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses who aim to deliver patient-centred care to the highest standard. Main duties of the job
The range of assigned tasks will be carried out with the highest standard and in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct to support and enable registered nursing staff to provide patient care, which reflects the quality standards and mission of the Health Board. Responsibilities include:
1. Support the delivery of a comprehensive nursing service including Palliative Care.
2. Contribute to the provision of health care to the people of the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board catchment area by assessing, planning, and implementing care for a defined group of patients.
3. Provide advice and record details of all necessary interactions.
4. Ensure safe clinically effective care and nursing procedures are carried out.
5. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to other staff members and pre-registration students.
6. Deliver basic nursing services to the population, supervised and supported by the multi-disciplinary team within the ward.
