We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to work within the finance team and work closely with the Senior Management Team. This is an extremely hands on role and requires an individual who can add value to the department/company. Ideally from an SME background. Duties & Responsibilities Producing month end accounting pack Balance sheet reconciliations Pre-payments and accruals Cashflow management VAT returns Fixed assets Intercompany accounts including intercompany reconciliations Invoicing and bank reconciliation Any other duties & responsibilities reasonably required for the accounts department Report to External Accountants and Advisors Work-In Progress Assessments and Forecasting Budgets and Variance Analysis Wider input into business as a Senior Manager / Leader Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Have relevant experience in a similar role AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Previous experience of working within the construction industry desirable Have a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation relating to finance management and business systems Sage 50 experience desirable Excellent analytical and reasoning skills Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to develop and support others Be able to adapt to change, problem solve and keep a ‘can do’ attitude 8-4:30 (4 on Friday)
