Residential Child Care Worker - Columbo Road
Grade 5: £30,060 - £32,654 per annum plus an alternating shift allowance and shift work following a rota pattern including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins (payable at £40.76 per sleep in).
Closing Date: 13th March
Together for Children have Children's Homes across Sunderland, caring for children and young people up to the age of 18. We are recruiting to one of our Children’s Homes and are looking for suitably skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic individuals to join an established team of Residential Child Care Workers.
Children’s Homes by their nature can provide both challenges and opportunities, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate resilience, motivation, and creativity to meet the needs of our young people.
The role requires shift working 365 days per year, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep ins.
These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. You must be over 21 to comply with the Children’s Homes Regulations.
If you have any questions about the vacancy or would like an informal discussion with one of the managers, please contact Michael More on 0191 5484185.
