We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our night shift team. In this role, you will lead and support a team of care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care for our service users. You will oversee care planning, medication management, and quality assurance processes while providing practical support to those in our care.
As a senior member of staff, you will be responsible for team supervision, staff development, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. You will also provide management cover in the absence of the Service Manager or Deputy, ensuring the smooth running of the service during your shift.
You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake further qualifications. Basic IT skills and registration with the SSSC are required. This role also requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. We value a diverse and inclusive workforce, and a commitment to the ethos and values of the organisation is essential.
If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and ready to take on a leadership role, we would love to hear from you.
We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that supports others, including access to exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card. Your future and that of your loved ones is secured with a generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit. Balancing work and family is made easier with our suite of enhanced family-friendly policies, and your health and wellness are prioritised with access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments.
We are keen to support you in making the right steps to learn, grow, and develop in ways that are right for you.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with the SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
