We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) school in East Lancashire. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with students in a supportive and dynamic environment, where your skills and experience will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students
* Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and a calm, positive approach
* Build positive, respectful working relationships with students and staff
* Adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Maths Teacher with strong subject knowledge
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* A sense of humour and a positive, solution-focused attitude
* The ability to build rapport and trust with students
* Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs and helping them achieve their potential
Salary:
