Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment
* Support experienced technicians in troubleshooting and repairing various instruments, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves. Along with specialising in Gas Chromatographs, Emissions Monitors, furnace Oxygen and combustion gas analysers, Fixed Gas Detectors and water quality analysers
* Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety
* Document maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs accurately and comprehensively
* Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve system performance
