Description The EMEA Event Productions team is seeking a multi-disciplinary video editor who's primary focus will be to design, edit and audit visually compelling video content for our customers. A successful candidate will be an effective communicator that can handle multiple projects from beginning to end, under tight and evolving deadlines. They can work independently with little supervision and collaborate with internal teams to raise the bar with each project. Our editors work in a production capacity when needed so being able to operate a camera or some production lighting know-how or other on-set skills are preferred. Key job responsibilities - Media management - downloading and uploading of files in an organised manner. - Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, visually compelling video productions. - Delivering quality video content consistently while adhering to deadlines. - Maintaining coherent communication between your team, Program Managers and customer. - Using metrics to make data-based decisions to optimize video production - Builds and maintains strong relationships with partner groups and stakeholders - A keen eye, attention to detail, and artistic ability A day in the life A Post-Production Engineer within the Event Productions team can work on a variety of edit styles, ranging from, but not limited to; short news bulletins, presentations and studio interviews to on-campus or off-campus event highlight videos. Working with a wide range of internal Amazon teams helping them create content that fulfils and surpasses their initial ideas. As well as delivering quality edits on a consistent basis, you will be encouraged to raise the bar for both the customer and your peers. Basic Qualifications - Industry experience in video editing in a deadline-driven media environment. - Industry experience in video/post production at a creative agency, or studio. - Strong knowledge and experience with video editing software including Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve. - Demonstrated track record of producing content for top brands and/or corporate customers. - Experience with transfer protocols, and digital asset management. - A solid understanding of video transcoding and video codecs. - Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing or equivalent work experience. - Familiarity with Ziflow/Frameio or similar products. - Ability to adjust work schedule to business needs. - Proficiency with MacOS and WindowsOS, Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite.
