Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Vacancy
The Role: This position supports manufacturing maintenance to enhance equipment availability and performance. Responsibilities include adhering to Agility maintenance schedules, delivering high-quality daily maintenance and repair work, and carrying out planned, reactive, and preventative tasks to optimise equipment OEE.
Key duties:
1. Ensuring equipment meets required performance levels through quality maintenance activities.
2. Promoting a shift towards planned and preventative maintenance.
3. Conducting fault analysis to create preventative maintenance routines.
4. Accurately recording task details, including parts used and any safety or performance concerns.
5. Responding to breakdowns with diagnostic skills and providing technical guidance.
6. Reporting findings and leading problem-solving efforts for reliability and safety issues.
7. Working with managers to improve repair efficiency and reduce production downtime.
8. Delivering robust inspection and maintenance reports.
9. Supporting production needs to minimise downtime and maximise machinery performance across all areas.
Candidate Requirements:
1. HNC/HND qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
2. 18th edition certification
3. Health and safety training
4. Relevant experience in factory or fabrication maintenance, including CNC equipment, PLCs, inverters, and drives
Benefits:
1. £40,000 - £42,000 (DOE)
