Child Exploitation Missing Intelligence Officer - Grade 8 £38,934 - £40,755
Secondment only until March 2025 – 36 hours per week
Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Intelligence Analyst and Assistant Analyst in the collation, reporting and analysis of data on all children missing and children subject to child exploitation (CE), both sexual and criminal, and/or trafficking. As one of the responsibilities, the successful candidate will liaise with key internal and external contacts in order to update the records for existing cohort of missing children and young people at risk of exploitation on a weekly basis through the systemic collection and monitoring of partner agency data and track the referrals, information requests, intelligence reports to support the identification of patterns of exploitation in missing episodes/missing children.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and appropriately qualified professional that is able to demonstrate their knowledge and experience of working in child exploitation area.
You will have a good understanding of relevant legislation including GDPR.
Good level IT skills, particularly in using Microsoft Excel in order to analyse and manipulate complex datasets.
Ability to convey information in a clearly understandable format to a diverse range of audiences. This includes good verbal presentation skills as well as written skills.
Ability to investigate data quality issues and create solutions to improve the reliability of information.
Accurate and reliable in handling data and ensuring information is valid, reliable, consistent and up to date.
Tenacity and resilience in facing up to obstacles and problem solving.
Orderly, methodical and well organised approach to work and able to work effectively under pressure.
Experience of handling sensitive and confidential data and undertaking sensitive tasks with knowledge of GDPR and other relevant legislation.
